Our educators and staff empower our students through resources and tools that promote entrepreneurship and wealth management, as well as active community service. Our goal is for all of our barbers to graduate with a debt-free education in order to focus solely on becoming a successful barber."

Guidance, Inspiration and Support
Next Level Barber Academy was established in 2018 and is proudly acclaimed as the first and only barber school in Gaston County. It was created through Justin Marlow's vision, who is a Gastonia native, and licensed master barber for 15 years.
Mr. Marlow's premise for founding this academy was to help create jobs for the community and to provide a creative platform for both men and women to showcase their artistic abilities through the art of barbering. As an instructor, he shares his many years of knowledge on the importance of proper hair care, product selection, customer service, and business experiences with students.
Here at Next Level Barber Academy, the atmosphere is clean, modern, and family-friendly. The training facility is equipped with state-of-the-art material designed to help guide every student into their very own successful barbering career. While the student expectations are always to deliver STELLAR customer service, there is a greater emphasis placed on maintaining a spirit of excellence on and off the clinic floor and the classroom.
